Yves Vermeersch
Yves Vermeersch (1962), born and living in Ronse (Belgium) , was in his childhood already fascinated by the art of painting of his grandfather. It was the start of his artistic career. Thanks to his grandfather Yves Vermeersch began to learn more about the fascinating world of art.
For twelve years he was a student drawing, painting and sculpture at the Royal Academy in Oudenaarde. Eight years of this was an intensive training in sculpture.
He attended additional courses in waxing techniques and bronze casting.
